  • What is Purifico?
    We are an eco-innovation company dedicated to creating high-quality personal care products that are as good for you as they are for the planet.
  • Why Purifico?
    When it comes to creating our products, we’re picky. And proud of it. Our pods are made with 100% natural fragrances and are crafted from top-quality essential oils, as well as 100% natural cleansers. They’re also cruelty free, and free of parabens, sulfates, pthalatates and a lot of other chemicals with names we can’t pronounce. Discover our full product promise. 
  • What is your mission?
    We’re on a mission to make the world a cleaner place, and to make it easier for others to do the same. When we couldn’t find personal care products that were both high-quality and eco-friendly, we created one. Purifico pods offer the same powerful cleansing experience you’d expect of a traditional luxury shampoo or wash, while eliminating single-use plastic and unnecessary harm to our Earth.
  • Besides Purifico products, how else are you “doing more”?
    We’re proud to share that 2% of our net sales revenue is donated to organizations working to clean up our planet. #DoMore
  • Where are your headquarters?
    Most of our team lives and works in New York City—a city we love, but also a city that reportedly trashes 1.5 million pounds of plastic bottles and jugs each week. We are actively working to Do More to reduce that number through our zero-waste shampoos, body washes and hand soaps.

    Because our bundles are customizable and made to order, they’re available for purchase exclusively online.

My Purifico Order

  • How can I track my package?
    We’re as excited as you are about your order! After checking out, you should receive an email stating your order has been processed. Once we ship it out, you’ll receive another email from us with your tracking information.
  • When can I expect my package?
    We typically ship 2-3 business days after we receive your order. Depending on where you live, you can expect to have your order delivered to you in 7-10 business days. 
  • Where do you ship Purifico products to?
    Right now, we’re only shipping in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. We will be looking to expand to Canada as soon as possible.
  • How do I get free shipping?

    Who doesn’t love free shipping, right? We offer free shipping for orders over $50. Gift cards, however, do not count toward that total.

    We are working hard to make universal free shipping happen. Stay connected with us and join our email list to be the first to know when we do :)

  • How do I apply a promo code?
    You can apply a promo code during the checkout process. Before you enter in your payment information, make sure to apply any promo codes or gift cards you have on hand.
  • When will my card be charged?
    You can expect to be charged as soon as you place your order and receive our initial confirmation email.
  • How much is shipping?
    Shipping varies by weight, speed and region. All shipping costs will be shown to you during the checkout process before you confirm the purchase.
  • How can I order just a single product?
    Currently, our products are only available for purchase as customizable bundles, which include refillable dispensers and refills. You can see our base bundles here. 
  • What do my pods come in?

    Your pods come inside cardboard tubes made from recycled paper, and carefully packaged and protected to ensure no pods are harmed along the way.

    The tubes are compostable and recyclable. And, they’re great for art projects, too. :)

  • What if my pods are delivered busted?
    Say it isn’t so! We’re sorry that happened. While we’ve worked hard to ensure the pods are as sturdy as possible, it can happen on rare occasions. Reach out to us here and we’ll be happy to get you some un-busted ones.
  • What is your return policy?
    If you don’t love it, we’ll cover the cost.  Please just send us an email or give us a call to let us know what went wrong.
  • When will I see my refund?
    Once we have received your return, we will work diligently to process your return payment. Payment time frames vary by banks.
  • How do I send Purifico as a gift?
    The earth, and your friend are about to be very happy. You can purchase a gift card right here.  You can also order with your friend’s name and address and we’ll ship it directly to them.

How to Purifico

  • How does Purifico work?

    We currently have two ways to Purifico: In-shower and At-the-Sink.

    To Purifico In-Shower you will use one of our watertight dispensers to release a single pod full of body wash or shampoo. When you’re ready to wash, you simply shake the dispenser, push the button on the base and a pod should pop right out. Hold the pod in the palm of your hand and let water pool over it so that the eco-friendly film dissolves – then you’re ready to go! Watch a demo here.  

    To Purifico At-the-Sink you will take one of our specially formulated, all-natural hand wash pods and drop it into our Earth friendly ceramic dispenser. Fill the dispenser with hot water, screw on the foaming pump, and wait 30 seconds for the pod to fully dissolve. Watch a demo here.


  • How can I use the in-shower pods with a washcloth?
    Release a single pod into your palm and allow it a few seconds to start melting. Once it begins to melt, let it soak into the washcloth or loofah before lathering.
  • Do I always have to use a dispenser?

    Our In-shower dispenser protects your pods from being damaged or crushed, and from moisture that will cause the film to melt before you are ready to enjoy them. In order to protect your pods in the shower or on the go, the dispenser is essential.

    For the hand soap, you can use our Ceramic Infinity Bottle, or any favorite bottle with foaming pump you already have. Just drop our hand soap pod inside, add approximately 8 oz of water and voila, foaming hand soap.

  • How do I get the pod to melt?

    Cup the pod in the palm of your hand and let some water pool over it. Once the biodegradable film that holds the pod together is fully rinsed away (about 7 seconds), you’re ready to go.

    If your pod doesn’t melt all the way, no biggie – you can just let any residual film go down the drain.  It will melt and decompose without harming plumbing or Mother Nature.

  • What happens to the pod’s film once it touches water?

    Purifico pods hold their shape using a water-soluble film that is non-toxic and biodegradable; meaning, they dissolve in water and are then consumed by bacterial microorganisms. We chose to use this film when creating our pods because it doesn’t contaminate recycling streams or contribute to micro-plastic pollution. Learn more about our pods here.


  • How many pods do I use per wash?

    Because of our highly concentrated formula, one pod is all you need per wash. That said, if two pods happen to come out of your dispenser, don’t try putting the second back in with wet hands or while the water is running – you’ll risk getting water inside and melting the other pods.

    If you find that two pods are coming out often, try shaking your dispenser a little less vigorously.

  • How long does one tube of pods last?

    Shower pods

    Our 24 pod in-home tube should last about a month.

    Our 10 pod mini tubes can last a few weeks of going to the gym or a week of vacation.

    Hand soap pods

    A single hand soap pod produces about 8.5oz of foaming hand soap, which is enough to last  several weeks. Each of our Hand Soap Pod Tubes include 4 pods.


  • How long will my dispenser last?
    As long as you want it too. Both our ceramic infinity hand wash bottle and our infinity dispenser were designed to last a lifetime in your shower and next to your sink.
  • How do I recycle my materials?

    To recycle the cardboard tube your pods come in, just recycle them like you would any other cardboard.

    Our in-shower Infinity Dispenser is made from 100% recycled plastic and can all be recycled again. You can feel free to recycle it yourself, or you can have us do the work for you.

    Recycle it yourself: You can put the watertight cover in any plastic recycling container just like you would a milk jug, just take the metal band off the bottom first.  Because the base has a metal spring for the button and a silicone valve that protects the pods, it must first be disassembled before being placed in a recycling bin.

    Have us recycle it for you: If you send it back to us, we will take care of this and even send you a new dispenser for free if you want it.  Please send an email request to customer service to get a free shipping label to return the dispenser base for recycling.
