Easy: Simple remove the clear cover from the dispenser's base by pulling up. Load the dispenser with your refill tube and replace the cover. When you want a pod, give the dispenser a little shake, push the button to open the door at the bottom and one pod will pop out ready to use. All the other pods will remain safely inside held in place by a silicon baffle. Close the door and enjoy your lather.

On the Outside: The Film

Purifico pods hold their shape using water-soluble films made of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) that are colorless, odorless, non-toxic and biodegradable—meaning, they dissolve in water and are then consumed by bacterial micro-organisms. We chose PVOH to create our pods because it doesn’t contaminate recycling streams or contribute to micro-plastic pollution. It’s so safe in fact, that this same film is also used for food-grade products.

On The Inside: The Formula

All of our pods are made with 100% natural fragrances and are crafted from top-quality essential oils, as well as 100% natural cleansers, moisturizers and foaming agents—which include plant-based surfactants that are mild yet effective. Our pods are 98% naturally derived. That’s because some of our formulas contain less than 1% of dyes used as an opacifying agent. The dyes we used in some of the products are FD&C blue 1.
