On the Outside: The Film

Purifico pods hold their shape using water-soluble films made of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) that are colorless, odorless, non-toxic and biodegradable—meaning, they dissolve in water and are then consumed by bacterial micro-organisms. We chose PVOH to create our pods because it doesn’t contaminate recycling streams or contribute to micro-plastic pollution. It’s so safe in fact, that this same film is also used for food-grade products.

On The Inside: The Formula

All of our pods are made with 100% natural fragrances and are crafted from top-quality essential oils, as well as 100% natural cleansers, moisturizers and foaming agents—which include plant-based surfactants that are mild yet effective. Our pods are 98% naturally derived. That’s because some of our formulas contain less than 1% of dyes used as an opacifying agent. The dyes we used in some of the products are FD&C blue 1. it is a wonderful product no complaints just my opinion or suggestion the only thing I would say is the pods need to b a little bit bigger and if the body wash would lather up more becoming more sudsy's other than that they have excellent smell an do a wonderful job

Love what purifico stands for

I love the thought of less waste and helping our environment. This cleaver way to wash your hair and/or body is just amazing. And as for the product itself, it smells delicious and makes my hair feel so so clean and soft. I got the shampoo and body wash pods. I didn't use them on my body maybe next time.
