On the Outside: The Film

Purifico pods hold their shape using water-soluble films made of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) that are colorless, odorless, non-toxic and biodegradable—meaning, they dissolve in water and are then consumed by bacterial micro-organisms. We chose PVOH to create our pods because it doesn’t contaminate recycling streams or contribute to micro-plastic pollution. It’s so safe in fact, that this same film is also used for food-grade products.

On The Inside: The Formula

All of our pods are made with 100% natural fragrances and are crafted from top-quality essential oils, as well as 100% natural cleansers, moisturizers and foaming agents—which include plant-based surfactants that are mild yet effective. Our pods are 98% naturally derived. That’s because some of our formulas contain less than 1% of dyes used as an opacifying agent. The dyes we used in some of the products are FD&C blue 1. Loved my 5 sample pack of Purifico body wash pods. My skin felt like silk as a perfect bonus. The pods dissolve quickly in water and are enough to wash my ENTIRE body. Not only are they eco friendly but it is concentrated so it actually is about the same as cheaper bottled body washes.

Received these wonderful samples the other day and they are amazing!! At first you look at them and they are tiny and think "how can these clean everything"? And they do, just put them in some water and the get to foaming. They smell great and you're saving the environment.
